A drop kerb, also known as a VCO vehicle crossover, is an alteration to the footway. It involves lowering the kerb and laying new foundations to the paving to enable a car to be driven onto the front area of a property.
Anyone wishing to form an access which crosses a footway, or a grass verge will normally need the approval of the Highways Authority. As a street works accredited contractor we can be licensed by Highways to carry out VCO work.
Vintage Driveways has provided drop curbs and VCO vehicle crossovers to customers across the South East, encompassing several major towns around us, including East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Crawley and Horsham plus many more.
Once permission has been granted to the home owner. You can then contact us with the relevant ‘VCO pack’ information and we can provide you with a quotation.
